These were created by Jessica for Dragonsite instead of the usual way of Dragonsite buying the rights to use a piece of existing art!
Jessica’s idea was “captured magic” which she thought of back in 2004 and she created a piece of 3D art which comprised of a Faery based on her art in a large glass dome stood on a wooden base, the faery would then be surrounded by silk foliage and silk butterflies. the first one was a one off piece called “Winter Fantasia” which was sold on eBay for $350.00 in December 2004. Talks with Munro (Dragonsite) were started to make them affordable and resulted in the four seasonal faerys, but the domes and silk extras vanished and just the figures made it to production.
