At 7″ tall and five-way jointed, Sum Ting Special is a cute little character.

She is sewn from hand-dyed, distressed mohair with taupe felt paw pads. She has glass eyes and a hand-stitched nose. A delicate ribbon bow completes her look.

Her body is stuffed with excelsior and weighted with encased steel BBs.

Deb Beardsley has been making bears professionally since 1997. Deb’s work falls into 2 categories – the fun and whimsical “Why Be Normal” and the vintage. She works mainly with mohair and vintage fabrics which she distresses and hand dyes herself.
