About the Artist:
Tomochika Hoshino loves to create teddy bears that are cute, magical and small. Known for his pint size bears that are small enough to sit in the palm of your hand. Tomochika’s characters may be small but they are bursting with personality. Since 1999, he has been passionately engaged in the teddy bear world. Tomochika resides in Aichi, Japan with his wife, fellow artist, Chie Nishida and their family
Chie Nishida started making teddy bears after seeing a miniature bear in a teddy bear shop. After designing a new bear, Chie finds the most satisfaction by looking at what she has produced. When she is not creating her latest designs, she enjoys waling near the mountains and foothills. Chie lives in Aichi, Japan with her family.
