At 19.2 inches tall, Elsbeth has a lovely blue dress with vintage lace. She comes with a small matching velvet sac filled with vintage glass marbles and a monogram with her initials “ES”. Around her neck she is wearing a necklace with 2 small blue glass hearts.

Her face is partly shaded with hues of brown. Elsbeth also has a growler, black German glass eyes and a waxed nose.

Her German mohair is a curly eggshell color and her paws are made of wool felt.

About the Artist:
Thomas Balke greatly impressed Susanne Ludwig on their first date when he gave her a box of chocolates and an antique bear. Unable to ignore the power of a teddy bear, this couple has been united ever since that date. Designing their own teddy bears since 1996, Balu Bears each have a long nose, long limbs, a defined hump and definitely have a dreamy expression their eyes. Made using the finest mohair and filled with wood wool, collectors can be sure Balu Bears are crafted with great pleasure.
