While traveling abroad, long time pottery artist, Jane Perala was fascinated with the number of teddy bears she came across. When she returned to her home in British Columbia, Canada, she began designing her own teddy bear patterns – never touching her pottery again!

Detail oriented, Jane is sure that every detail is perfect before her bears leave for their new homes.

Edison is a curly, matted, tan mohair bear with felt paws, glass eyes and hand-embroidered nose and claws. Fiber and pellet filled. Subtle airbrushing added to accent his muzzle, eyes and paws.

He is wearing a cotton, tea-dyed sailor collar.
