Calanthe is an adorable 26 inch porcelain girl with rich auburn hair that is styled in lots of loose ringlets and has big brown eyes. This little one has an older Virginia porcelain sculpt with porcelain hands, feet and head with a cloth body. She is wearing a white dress with black polka dots that has a lace collar and lace embellishments on the bodice, a black ribbon tied in a bow around her waist and at the hem, matching pantaloons, white tights and matching Mary Jane shoes with a black ribbon bow with a white rosette in the center. The finishing touch is the matching black and white hair bows and she comes with a beaded purse.

This doll is an artist proof that comes from Virginia. She kept the artist proof/prototype of each doll that she designed. Each doll has been signed and comes with a certificate. The dolls come secured to a backing in a brown box inside a shipping box as Virginia does not have any more of her white boxes.
