A little about the artist:

Pat Kolesar’s whimsical style has been sought after by many well known personalities. Her collectors feel she brings laughter into their lives. She is one Artist everyone always remembers. You will remember her characters that tickle your funny bone, her gregarious personality, and let’s not forget her fuchsia hair.

Pat has been sculpting since was was a toddler. Her mother tells stories of Pat sitting in her high chair sculpting mashed potatoes and other foods. To Pat, life is art and art is life.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Pat won her first sculpting contest at age 15 and has continued to win many awards through the years. Pat loves designing her own clothes. She hand paints silk and other materials, designs the patterns, and does the sewing. Scarlet O’Hara wasn’t the only woman to make a dress from draperies. Pat recalls needing a dress for a high school dance and making one from her mom’s old drapers.
