Shalima has dark human hair and mouth blown brown glass eyes. Her upper part, arms and legs are made of vinyl, and cotton under the waist. She is wearing traditional Egyptian long sleeved white cotton outfit with white cotton underdress and a long golden duster trimmed with a frinsh. She also has broad Egyptian necklace and a traditional beaded headgear.  On her feet she wears leather slip flops with rich pearl ornaments.

The eye and forehead decoration is based on the ideal of beauty at the time of the old Pharaohs. It was the custom to decorate the eyes with black lines on the upper eyelid into the outer eye corner and a black dot on the forehead.
