Genuine 'cowry' seashells and wooden beads dangle across the bodice of the dress on our lovely Lynda from Guatemala. Her country was the cradle of the ancient Mayan civilization and her unique hairstyle is a reflection of her status among the nobles. Lynda's exquisite hair 'buns' are wrapped in bands of fringed hemp decorated with rows of the genuine 'cowry' shells. Her shawl of beige and brown natural hemp is self-fringed and adorned with rows of braid, top-stitching and bright beaded burgundy tassels.
